Job Details

I am currently working with a Local Authority based in East Anglia who are looking to bring on a Senior Manager to take charge of the development management team for an initial 3 month contract, although likely to be extended further.

The main details are as follows:

  • Reporting to the Assistant Director
  • You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the DM service, including major and non-major developments, enforcement and technical support.
  • You will be managing the performance of the above team, making key decisions, ensuring significant development proposals are appropriately resourced and managed.
  • You will oversee service delivery, monitor service budget and authorise expenditure on external consultancy services.

The council are looking for the suitable person to start in April. The daily/hourly rate is open to negotiation and will depend on your experience. They are offering flexible remote working!
