Head of Regeneration

Osborne Richardson has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interim Head of Regeneration to join our client, a busy forward thinking Local Authority based in South East London. You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development, design, management and implementation of high profile, high quality and high value programmes of regeneration in various town centres and neighbourhoods across the borough with the aim of delivering new homes and jobs to communities in the borough.

You will be responsible for setting clear objectives and ensuring that resources are available in order to drive the delivery of a number of ambitious strategic programmes our client is working on. The role will require you to work closely with external private and public sector partners to ensuring that all projects are based on sound business cases and delivered on time and to budget.

To apply for this role it is absolutely essential you have worked on regeneration programmes of a similar nature within a local authority. Project management skills are absolutely essential and you will need excellent management skills as each project will have a project team made up of staff from a diverse range of professional and technical disciplines. It is essential that you can work well under pressure and that you can communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. Appropriate academic / professional qualifications are expected for a role at this level.

The role is role has initially been released as a 3 month contact but is expected to last for at least 6 with the potential for an extension beyond this. Our client is offering a daily rate of between £400 - £600 inside IR35 (could be room to negotiate depending on experience) . Please get in touch for more information including a job spec.
