Job Details

CC Town Planning is an independent firm of chartered town planning consultants based in Northampton.  We pride ourselves on providing sound planning and development advice and consultancy services to a wide range of clients including local authorities, national house-builders, investors, businesses and householders.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Planning Consultant to join us.  The successful candidate will work on a range of projects including writing planning statements, appeals, carrying out site appraisals and submitting and managing planning applications for a wide range of development types.

Applications are invited from planners with experience gained in a development management role preferably within a private practice and ideally with experience of working on major residential sites.  We would however consider candidates with either more or less experience, or from a public sector background if we felt that they were well suited to the role. MRTPI membership is preferred.

The successful candidate will be hard working, organised, efficient, have excellent report writing skills, attention to detail, a good knowledge of planning law and procedures, a full clean driving license and their own car.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small growing business, in a friendly, supportive environment.
