Vivid are working with a local authority based in Central England to find a Senior/Principal Planning Enforcement Officer to join a busy Planning Department on an initial 6 month contract. 

The role will involve Planning Enforcement casework, in addition mentoring junior members of staff. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sound knowledge of Planning legislation
  • Good experience of dealing with enforcement caseloads
  • Ideally, experience of managing or mentoring junior members of staff.
  • A car and full driving licence

Due to current circumstances, the role will be offered on a fully remote basis apart from site visits.

For the role, and dependent on experience, the authority are willing to offer £35 per hour.
