The Development Control team are busy implementing the recently adopted Borough Plan which means you will have a varied caseload inclusive of rural and urban planning applications.

Specific experience/qualifications are listed in the attached job description and person specification. To be successful you will require competence in the following;

- Ability to work independently
- Provide pre-application advice
- Negotiate with applicant and their agents;
- Prepare accurate delegated and committee reports on applications
- Deal with S106 agreements
- Prepare and present the Council’s case at appeals
