Job Details

I’m working with a London Borough who are looking to recruit a GIS Officer on a temporary contract, lasting for roughly 1 year. The rate has been left negotiable dependent on the experience of the candidate. The role will be remote-based, and day to day you will:

  • Configure and amend map projects, map project templates and print templates
  • Prepare, transform and load GI data
  • Complete intricate data capture and edits
  • Publish and secure OGC compliant web map services
  • Integrate third party data into the GIS application
  • Liaise, support and train superusers
  • Manage permission structure and user permissions
  • Undertake complex spatial analysis ranging from crime density to CCTV coverage

Our client would prefer the candidate to have:

  • Experience working in a similar role previously for a Local Authority

Working Arrangements:

  • Rate is dependent on experience
  • Immediate start
  • Remote working
  • IR35 status undetermined
