Job Details
I am working exclusively on behalf of a Local Authority situated in the South East, assisting them in finding them an Interim Planning Officer who they require for an initial 3 month contract.
Your key responsibility will be to handle a large caseload of mixed applications, primarily consisting of Householders and potentially small Minors. It will most likely involve both Urban Developments and Greenbelt cases.
You will need to manage applications through their entire process and be able to write eloquent reports and validations. Furthermore, the successful candidate will need to be confident in providing both verbal and written advice and recommendations to members of the public, developers, and members.
The rate for the contract greatly depends on your level of experience, but will likely fall in the region of £30 an hour.
