Job Details

I am working with a busy Local Authority situated in Central England who are looking to welcome a Principal Planner to the team for an initial 6 month period.

The authority are in need of an experienced and capable Officer to oversee applications consisting solely of a complex and large scale nature. Types of applications will range from Greenbelt, to Residential sites.

As well as processing these applications, you will be required to represent the Local Authority at Planning Committee and be able to capably offer expert advice to all third parties involved in the Process (for example Applicants, Councillors, the Public).

Given the need for experience, the authority are prepared to offer a high rate of up to £45 an hour for the successful applicant.

We are also in the process of exploring the possibility of the contract being deemed Outside of IR35.
