Senior/Principal Planning Officer

Vivid are working with a Local Authority in Somerset who are looking for a Senior-Principal Planning Officer to join their team on a 3 month initial contract. 

The role will be will be dealing with a mixed caseload of applications and major up to 100 units. The authority are looking to pay around £35 per hour, depending on experience. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role within a local authority
• Experience in dealing with Major applications
• Knowledge of Town Planning systems within a Development Management context

Due to current restrictions, the role will be fully remote with equipment provided. You may have to visit site once a month.
