Our client, a respected housebuilder are urgently looking to appoint a Senior Strategic Planner to work as part of their experienced planning and development based on the South Coast. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Managing Director and other senior staff to source strategic land opportunites and handle the planning promotion and masterplanning work.

Qualifications:

In this instance applications are sought from candidates with Chartered Membership with either the RTPI or RICS and a relevant BSc / MSc in planning or surveying.

Experience:

Suitable candidates will have a minimum of five years experience in the planning sector, preferably within a consultancy or developer environment. An in depth knowledge of the development plans system is essential as is the ability to interpret national, regional and local development plan guidance to locate areas with potential.
