Senior Planning Officer

Senior Planning Officer- Somerset -6 Months

Vivid are working with a council based in Somerset to find a Senior/Principal Planning Officer to come in and work with the development management team on an interim basis. The role will be offered initially for 3/4 months, with a view to extend dependant on budgets and performance.

• The main duties of the role will be to deal with a varied caseload inclusive of householder/complex and small major apps .
• This role provides a great opportunity to work autonomously and without supervision while managing your own workload.
• Experience within a development management team in the public sector up to at least planning officer level
• Experience of dealing with applications • A driving licence and, ideally, access to a car for site visits
