A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Planner/Senior Planner to join a leading independent consultancy in their London office. This company have a national network of offices, across which the environmental team operate as one business unit. This organisation has a number of complementary disciplines, including town planning and infrastructure, and this position offers the opportunity to work closely with these teams offering a national service to an impressive client base.
The role is within the Environmental/Infrastructure team, and it has arisen due to continued work opportunities in a wide range of sectors; in particular, renewable energy and infrastructure. Consequently, they are seeking an experienced Planner/Senior Planner to be a key part of the team and deliver environmental, health & wellbeing, socio-economic and sustainability advice at both strategic and project levels. You will ideally be RTPI or IEMA qualified and have strong technical knowledge of the planning system, SA/plan promotion and impact assessments (particularly EIAs), ideally gained within a consultancy. The successful candidate must be commercially-minded and motivated to become a leader in their field. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel nationally.
In regards to remuneration, the successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary, car/car allowance, bonus (profit share scheme), 5% pension, life assurance, paid subs and a range of flexible benefits, including dental insurance and a holiday buy & sell scheme (5 days).
