The company is involved in a wide range of projects from major infrastructure work, to large-scale residential schemes. Our client is looking for an ambitious professional who is seeking to progress their career, working on an array of schemes in and around Hampshire.
The role specifics
In this role, you will be provided with a wide pool of clients, working mostly on a range of residential and mixed-use projects within Hampshire and near by regions. An ability to communicate well with landowners, developers and architects will be fundamental to this role. You will be responsible for providing clients with viable planning strategies in a comprehensive and timely manner.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Playing a lead role in preparing and submitting a wide range of planning applications and appeals
• Maintaining existing, and build new client relationships
• Managing projects of varying complexity and size
• Supporting and developing less experienced planners in the company.
Previous experience within a planning consultancy, developer or local authority will be pivotal for this role. Your understanding of the planning process, as well as your commercial awareness will be important. All applicants must have either an RTPI accredited undergraduate or master's degree.
You'll be offered a remuneration package ranging from £40,000 - £46,000 per annum for this job, depending on your level of experience.
