Job Details
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established town planning consultancy in East Sussex on the hire of an MRTPI Planner.
Our client provides planning advice across a wide range of development types, over a considerable geographic area, for a range of clients in the public and private sectors. This includes residential and commercial developers, retailers, private landowners, local authorities, charities and smaller private clients.
In this role, you will support clients from the planning appraisal stage (including advice on permitted development rights) through to the submission of applications and discharge of conditions thereafter. In addition and where required, you will submit planning appeals (including appeals against enforcement notices), lawful development certificates and promote sites through the local plan-making process.
Requirements to apply
In order to apply, you should hold a planning or related degree, MRTPI (or working towards submission) with relevant experience for a Town / Senior Planner. You should have commercial awareness and the ability to work on own initiative. You will also possess a full driving licence and willingness to travel.
Training & Development
The role will include ongoing coaching from the Directors who will work with you to help you realise your career objectives.
