Planning Manager

Have you been considering your position in the current financial climate or just exploring new opportunities that are out there? If you're looking to make the move to the client side or want to kick on with your career progression this could be the role for you! 

Working on sites across the south east of England, you will be working with land buyers and reporting directly to the Managing Director of this small, property company. Alongside existing Planning Managers, you will have responsibility for your own sites, your own projects and the daily planning obligations that come with them. You will be instructing external consultants, communicating the planning strategy and managing multi-disciplinary teams alongside each project.

An understanding of site promotion and experience in dealing with both smaller, immediate sites and larger, strategic sites would be beneficial and a network of connections across the south east will allow you to settle quickly into the role.

You will have at least 8 years’ experience, ideally in the private sector and have an excellent understanding of the UK planning system and challenges that lie ahead for the nation. Experience in gaining consent for large scale residential and industrial projects is imperative to the role.
