Senior/Principal Planner

A planning, design, and development consultancy, that works with a number of renewable energy companies, resource management organisations and commercial, leisure and residential developers is appointing a Senior Planner or Principal Planner to the team.  

As part of the plan for continued growth, the company is seeking to appoint an ambitious and driven Senior Planner or Principal Planner, to support existing and new clients in the development of brownfield, residential and commercial development, leisure and mixed-use schemes.

You will have a planning related degree, be a member of the RTPI and ideally have 5-7 years' experience of working in the Planning field. If you have an active interest in EIA and environmental aspects of Planning this will also be beneficial to your application.

On a daily basis you will be preparing and submitting planning applications, you will be a confident communicator and regularly be liaising with third parties including clients, stakeholders and local authorities. You will need to have excellent communication skills, will take a proactive approach to your work, and will be looking for a career within a progressive organisation.

The successful candidate will form part of a growing Planning and &andscape team, and will be involved in a range of high-profile projects in the renewable energy, minerals, waste management and commercial property development sectors. You will work alongside Senior Planners, &andscape Architects and EIA consultants, and will provide valuable input into the planning and EIA processes on various projects.
