Graduate / Assistant Town Planner | Nottingham | Real Estate Consultancy
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well-respected real estate consultancy in the East Midlands who are looking to recruit a Graduate or Assistant Town Planner to be ideally based in Nottingham however the company can also consider candidates based in the West Midlands.
Our client helps developers and land & property owners to maximise value and ensure that their proposals receive planning permission. The company has over 50 planning staff across multiple offices strategically placed throughout the UK.
You will work closely with a Director on a variety of projects across sectors that can include Residential, MOD sites, Retail and supermarkets.
In this role, you will undertake planning applications from outline and hybrid masterplans to detailed permissions, detailed planning appraisals to identify a site or building's planning potential and work on appeals where appropriate. The company have a development arm focused on residential development and so you will also be involved in a lot of viability work.
In order to apply you will hold/demonstrate;
-RTPI accredited degree (2:1 or higher)
-Be working towards MRTPI submission
-Previous planning experience (ideally 1-2 years)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
