Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a recognised leader in the development sector on the hire of a Strategic Planner / Senior Planner to join the team in Bristol.
Our client is one of the UK's leading housebuilders operating from multiple offices strategically placed around the UK! As a Strategic Planner you will be part of a small yet busy team, which involves identifying and sourcing strategic land opportunities and handling planning promotion and master planning work of varying scales and complexity. The role offers a broad area of responsibility including managing consultants, negotiating with landowners and agents as well as other stakeholders and local planning authorities. In this role you will report to the Land Director.
Job Requirements
In order to apply, you should be ambitious, can show initiative, is committed and commercially minded. The successful applicant will have a Degree / Masters Planning Degree with an RTPI accreditation and a rounded knowledge of planning with proven experience either gained within a Local Authority, Planning Consultancy or another Developer.
