Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Development Team Leader, you will be responsible for the management of one of the teams of professional planning officers within Development Services. You will therefore be a highly motivated, experienced planner with proven communication skills, a strong technical background in development management and have the ability to support, enthuse and motivate your team to deliver a first-class planning service.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of all day to day services provided by the Team in accordance with legislation, corporate objectives, service plans, performance management systems and approved budgets. You will also manage a small number of complex applications and mentor other team members with their applications. You will have excellent customer service skills and champion the highest standards of behavior and professionalism.
