Planning Officer (M+W) (Fully Remote)

G2 are currently working with a local authority (County) who are looking for a Planning Officer to play a key role in their small but busy planning team.

You will be involved in all areas of planning from Policy, development management though to enforcement. You will also be involved in proposals for the extraction and processing of nationally important industrial minerals, aggregates and waste treatment facilities as well as a wide range of infrastructure projects including new and expanding Schools in the County Council’s Capital Programme (to support the planned housing growth for the County); libraries, and major highways schemes and key Heritage Projects as well as firestations.

As a member of the RTPI, or eligible for full membership you will have good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ideally you will also have a working knowledge of pollution control and other regulatory regimes to ensure they can work effectively with their key stakeholders.
