Job Details

I am working with a busy Local Authority based in the South East who require an Interim Senior or Principal Enforcement Officer to complete an initial 6 month contract.

My client requires an experienced Officer to take over complex Enforcement cases and effectively manage the process through it’s entirety. You will be fully responsible for investigating alleged breaches of unlawful development and taking formal action and issuing notices if necessary.

As well as issuing notices, you will also be required to capably prepare written reports and evidence and be able to confidently present said evidence in Inquiries, Court, and Planning Hearings.

Due to present circumstances the role is predominantly homeworking based. However, you will still be expected to undertake visits and inspections when necessary.

For the right candidate, the council are willing to offer a competitive rate of £40-£45 an hour . For exceptionally experienced applicants this could also be negotiated higher.

If this sounds like something of interest, or you wish to know further details, then get in touch anytime on 07545079629 or email me at jack@varnomross.com
