Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a small but experienced Planning Consultancy in Bristol who are looking to recruit a Senior Town Planner on a 12-month contract to cover maternity.
My client has over 10 years of experience in the South West and currently works on an array of projects across a number of exciting fields such as residential, industrial, commercial, leisure and retail.
The successful Planner will have the opportunity to take on their own caseload of projects as well as assisting the Director on major schemes. Key Duties
-Preparing and submitting planning applications
-Strategic site promotion and five-year land supply
-Co-ordinating external teams where required
-Maintaining client relationships Job requirements
-RTPI accredited Planning degree or similar
-3-5 years planning experience (public or private however private sector experience is preferred)
-Project management experience
-Good working knowledge and breadth of experience of local, regional and national planning legislation. Benefits
