Senior DM Officer

I am working with an authority in the South West who are looking for a Senior Planning Officer,. The council can offer significant remote working.  The candidate will be working on a caseload of Major applications and would be starting in the next two weeks. 

The role;

• Overseeing a mixed caseload of Major applications
• Co-ordinate and independently carry out site visits and prepare detailed reports.
• Negotiate finalise and discharge conditions.
• Advise Planning Enforcement teams about retrospective planning approval and variation to conditions.
• Mentor junior members of staff.

Candidate's Required Experience:

• Several years' of experience within Local Authorities
• Previous experience of a large scale residential and commercial applications
• Ability to drive and access to own car.

Working Arrangements:

• Rate would be DOE
• Role to more than likely be inside IR35.
• A compressed working week and remote working is available.
