Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with the UK's leading rural diversification and development consultancy on the hire of a Senior Town Planner or Associate Director to support their Yorkshire & Oxfordshire teams.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity, will be full-time, remote working and will start in January 2021.
Working alongside Planners, Architects, Ecologists, Landscape Architects and other professionals you will support clients across the UK on a wide range of planning consents from commercial to residential, leisure, tourism and agriculturural.
In order to apply for this role, you should be available from January (or February at the latest) and hold relevant qualifications and planning experience at the appropriate level you are putting yourself forward for (Senior Planner or Associate Director). Your experience can come from either the public or private sector, what is important is an excellent grasp of the UK planning system and how to navigate it. You should be passionate, engaged, solution-driven individuals with strong communication skills. Previous experience of rural projects is advantageous.
