Vivid are working with a local authority based in the West Midlands to find a Senior/Principal Planning Officer to join their busy Development Management team. The authority are looking for someone to join their team for an initially for a 6 month contract, although this is likely to extend. 

The role will mainly aim to help the authority by working on a caseload of  mixed and complex apps, and provides a great opportunity to get stuck into a really interesting set of work. The maximum units will be 60.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working as a Senior/Principal PO within a local authority
  • Experience of dealing with a mixed caseload
  • A driving licence and access to a car for site visits.

For the role the authority can offer rates of £35-45p/h

They are also willing to negotiate a very flexible working situation.
