Town Planner | East Scotland | National Planning Consultancy
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
My client is a leading planning and property consultancy which has over 15 offices across the UK, establishing itself as one of the largest and most successful consultancies in the country. They are searching for an ambitious and enthusiastic Town Planner to join their team of expert planning professionals in East Scotland. This office has an excellent reputation and is renowned for being one of the frontrunners throughout the British planning world.
You will be expected to hold an RTPI accredited qualification, at least 2-3 years of planning experience working within a private consultancy or local authority (preferably both) and a general understanding of the East Scotland and the surrounding area.
The successful Town Planner you will be expected to take on the following responsibilities:
* Managing projects involving planning applications and appeals, providing accurate and efficient advice to clients.
* Investing in the development of a range of sites and projects and assessing sites for development suitability.
* Demonstrating an ability to marshal evidence in support of the planning projects.
* Demonstrating a positive, proactive attitude with the drive to meet client expectations and promote the business through the use of marketing and networking skills
