To develop and enhance our ambitious and dynamic Planning team we are looking for a progressive and transformational manager to take forward the Council's quality growth agenda. These are challenging and exciting times and we are embarking on a new local plan, bringing forward a site allocation plan, SPDs and responding to government reforms.

You will be someone with excellent leadership and management skills who is highly motivated and ambitious. You will have a proven track record of managing a policy team, delivering robust and innovative policies that challenge the norm and deliver the best outcomes. Working within a political environment together with the ability to forge strong relationships with colleagues, politicians, our communities and key stakeholders.
