Role: Senior Town Planner
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum (Depending on experience) + Attractive Benefits Package
Penguin Recruitment is excited to be working with a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving market leader in planning, development and regeneration as soon as possible. My client offers a comprehensive planning service and provide trusted planning advice which has become the hallmark of their reputation
As part of the Senior Planner role, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of often complex planning applications and appeals, as well as project managing a broad mix of planning submissions. You will work within a team led by one of our clients Partners and will have exposure in supporting junior members of staff in their projects. You will strive for innovation and creativity; looking from all directions and angles to produce ideas and solutions that enhance the clients' businesses.
The successful candidate:
-Will have a positive attitude, together with the drive and enthusiasm to develop their career.
-Will be MRTPI qualified.
-Will have a comprehensive knowledge of the planning system.
-Will have excellent writing and communication skills.
-Will have a clean driver's license.
-Will have a minimum of 3 years planning experience.
-Will be able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
