A local authority in the home counties has a great opportunity for a Principal Planning Officer to join the established team and assist working on a caseload of major applications. This authority has received a large influx of planning applications as there is significant growth in the local area, with some large-scale applications that the council needs assistance with.

The contract will be for an initial 3 months with a view to extend. The council can offer competitive rates and extremely flexible working arrangements, 100% remote if required. The council will also look at the role and successful candidate together to assess the IR35 status.
