Regeneration Manager

Salary: £66,926 – £73,606

Permanent - Full Time   

Test Valley Borough Council are set to embark on two of the biggest regeneration projects ever undertaken and we need an exceptional candidate to proactively lead these exciting, high profile plans. 

We are an ambitious, innovative and optimistic council, whose Corporate Plan, ‘Growing Our Potential’, is focused on building upon the Borough’s strengths, including those of its fantastic communities, to improve the quality of life for residents across Test Valley. To achieve this vision, the redevelopment of Andover and Romsey town centres are our number one priority.

This is a once in a generation opportunity to respond to the changing face of the High Street and we have grabbed it with both hands. To facilitate the transformation and future-proofing of our town centres, we have expanded our estate and made significant land purchases. With the help of two of the country’s best consultancy teams we have adopted two masterplans setting out our bold ambitions for the coming years. 

Being the Council’s technical expert for both of these ambitious projects, you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of working at a senior level in a related area, as well as a proven track record in development and delivery. You will actively manage risks and provide robust solutions to challenges. To ensure successful delivery of the projects, you will be an effective communicator, able to engage with our communities, our partners and other teams across the Council, building strong relationships.
