We are looking to recruit a new Planning Policy Team Manager to contribute to the Local Plan Review and help to shape the future sustainable growth of this economically buoyant and environmentally sensitive area. You will have experience of strategic planning, and will have a demonstrable record of planning policy work. The role is focused on guiding and coordinating the work of the planning policy team, and in particular to bring forward a new Local Plan. 

The Council published a preferred approach plan in December 2018 and is seeking to finalise a proposed submission plan for consultation in the spring of 2021. This is an exciting time in the Policy Team as, in addition to bringing forward a new Local Plan, the Council is taking a proactive role in securing the delivery of development, both on greenfield sites and the regeneration of Chichester City Centre.
