We’ve experienced a sharp increase in workload within our Development Management team(s).  Joining existing Senior Planners, you will supervise and prepare reports on complex or major planning and other applications, agreements, pre application enquiries and other consultations. You will play a major role in contributing to the efficient and effective operation of the Development Management function, with the opportunity to mentor staff, whilst managing this diverse workload.

This position offers an opportunity to an already experienced Senior Planner, wishing to work in a diverse geographical area where significant growth is proposed, but also offers an opportunity to a planner wishing to move into a more senior and supervisory role. You will have a degree or Diploma in Town Planning, or related equivalent, and either have MRTPI or be working towards full membership, together with substantial Local Authority experience in Development Management work.
