Job Details

Salary: £43,869 - £53,964 per annum.

Permanent Contract.

37 Hours per Week.

Located in the heart of the Thames Gateway but within 30min from Fenchurch Street, Thurrock has one of the most exciting planning agendas in the Country. Centred on 6 major growth hubs, the Council plans to provide 26,000 new jobs and 32,000 new homes over the next 20 years. With an exciting mix of urban centres and countryside villages Thurrock is an excellent location for a career in planning.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and well organised Principal Planner to join our proactive Development Management team. Candidates should have experience of working within a local authority planning team and a positive and proven track record of delivery both in terms of handling major planning applications and managing members of staff.
