Job Details
I am working with a Local Authority based in the South East who are looking to bring on a graduate Enforcement Officer for a 3-6 month initial contract likely to be extended, should everything go well!
The overall job purpose is undertaking duties required in the Planning Enforcement Team for the enforcement of Planning Development, including the use of computer-based information systems. These duties require an accurate and investigative approach to all aspects of Planning Development and an ability to cope with a diverse caseload in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
My client is happy to consider Town Planning Graduates or Junior Planners with private or public sector experience within Development Management/Enforcement. You will get the opportunity to get some 1-1 training as an Enforcement Officer and get your foot in the door with a great Local Authority.
The hourly rate is dependent on previous experience. It will be remote working, although you would have to go down for site visits. Driving licence and a car is essential.
