Job Details
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy in Nottingham on the hire of an experienced Town Planner.
The company and role are based in center Nottingham and can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis. The position will include advising to a wide range of clients that will typically fall into residential, institutional and commercial sectors working with developers and individual land and property owners.
In this role, you will be required to manage your own time, as well as managing a range of schemes alongside developing client relationships.
Duties
-Managing a caseload of development projects
-Working closely with partners and sub-partners
-Attending meetings with clients, LPA's and any other appropriate organisations
-Preparing, submitting and monitoring planning applications
-Supporting junior colleagues
-Supporting the Directors with any appropriate work
Ideal Candidate
-MRTPI or working towards submission
-Have strong planning experience gained in either a planning consultancy (preferable) or the public sector
-Ability to manage a demanding workload
-Have strong communication skills
-Be motivated with strong team skills
-Keen to take on responsibility
Training & Development
The role will include ongoing coaching from the Directors who will work with you to help you realise your career objectives.
