Planning Policy Officer (Graduates Suitable)

I am currently working with a Local Authority client based in Essex, who are looking for a Planning Policy Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. You will be tasked with assisting the preparation, monitoring and review of their Local Plan, whilst also dealing with other policy matters such as the Neighbourhood Plan.

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification relating to Town planning, and any suitable work experience within Local Authorities is encouraged. You must also have excellent date management skill, organisational skills and the ability to receive and analyse complex information.

The role will be predominantly remote-based, with the hourly rate dependent upon the experience of the candidate – likely to be between £15 – £21 per hour.
