Town Planner - Rural Planning Practice - Essex

Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be supporting the expansion of a Rural Town Planning practice with the appointment of a Town Planner in their offices in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified planner to expand on your existing rural planning experience and work on a range of projects across the South East.

Candidates must have gained an RTPI recognised degree and actively be working towards achieving MRTPI status. You will hold up to date and relevant private or public sector Town Planning experience and ideally have worked on rural planning projects or have a strong understanding of this.

You will join the existing Town Planning team in Essex and assist in the delivery of rural planning projects. Responsibilities will see you undertake the preparation of planning applications, appeals and site appraisals, manage workload effectively and monitor local plans representations.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive starting salary in relation to your technical understanding and working background in Town Planning. You will be exposed to a variety of rural planning projects and will be given the opportunity to further progress your planning career.
