Vivid are working with a Local Authority based in Yorkshire who are looking for a Planning Enforcement Officer to join their team on an interim basis.The initial contract will be for 6 months, and comes with a view for extension.
The role will involve dealing with your own caseload of Enforcement matters, prioritising the most urgent cases and writing sound reports. There will also be a responsibility to work in their triage system and advise the public on enforcement matters.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Planning Enforcement or Compliance Officer
- Sound knowledge of legislation
- Experience of dealing with members of the public
- A driving licence and access to a car
The role will be fully remote, other than the need to complete any site visits. Rates will fall between £23-£27/hr, although this can be negotiated for the right candidate.
