We have announced a £350 million scheme for the first phase of the regeneration of Stevenage Town Centre and recently adopted our Local Plan and CIL Charging Schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative manager to lead and manage a high performing Planning Policy team. Work will include; leading our Climate Change agenda, sustainable transport work and updating our infrastructure planning. Much of our work will shift to supporting delivery and planning in our neighbourhoods.

The successful applicants will be offered an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in implementing CIL, updating our SPD and AAPs and supporting delivering a new town centre and neighbourhoods, alongside a wide range of other planning policy work. They will take the lead on maintaining strong relationships with local transport partners and bodies, to promote the interests of the Borough Council.
