Are you passionate about planning? Are you looking to develop within an authority that is looking to realise its development aspirations and deliver growth while maintaining the unique and special qualities that make North Norfolk a better place to live work and visit?

The Major Projects team are looking for enthusiastic senior officers to be responsible for a range of larger scale application proposals including housing and commercial as well as helping to deliver innovative solutions for affordable housing. The team are also involved in large scale renewable energy projects including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.

The Planning Policy team are seeking to deliver major strategic growth and infrastructure in an environment of exceptional quality. You will assist in progressing the emerging Local Plan towards Reg19, lead in policy formation including site allocations & housing policies and engage in partnership work across the wider Norfolk Strategic Framework.

We have opportunities within both our Policy Team and Majors Team for positive, enthusiastic and forward thinking senior planners ideally with a degree and professional qualification in Town and Country Planning together with eligibility for full membership of the RTPI.
