This is a full time fixed term position for 37 hours per week, initially for 2 years.

The Council plays an active role in the Haven Enterprise Zone and the Swansea Bay city region City Deal.
To realise our economic growth ambitions we are looking for a dynamic self-starter Principal Regeneration Officer with an entrepreneurial skill set and a track record in developing and delivering regeneration projects, from conception through to completion. You will have the confidence and proven ability to drive forward complex projects, negotiating and managing the relationships between stakeholders, including, employer's agents, external funders and contractors. This will require regular liaison with senior managers, elected members and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of projects on the ground.
You will support the Regeneration manager to actively contribute to the development and implementation of a strategic programme of regeneration projects. This is an exciting and challenging role and we are looking for candidates with a balanced professional and technical experience for regeneration issues with excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective partnership working to co-ordinate the direct delivery of projects.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with drive to initiate and take personal and professional responsibility for the development and delivery of projects. The Council has fully adopted agile working policies to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
