Role: Senior Town Planner
Location: South Wales
Salary: Negotiable
Penguin Recruitment is excited to be working with a Town Planning and Development Consultancy, who are seeking a Senior Town Planner in Cardiff to join their team due to growth in the business. My client undertakes a diverse range of projects, of all scales and pride their selves in their approach, their client care, and their relationship with everyone they work with. Their team brings together 'can do' professionals who provide commercially informed, and tactically aware, advice to produce well formulated and deliverable solutions for their clients.
As a result of considerable repeat business, my client is seeking someone to contribute to the company maintaining and achieving these high standards of client care. Ideally candidates will have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant planning discipline and be a Chartered Member of the RTPI, candidates working towards this will also be considered. A minimum of two-years post-qualification town planning experience (within the private or public sector) is essential for the role.
Duties in the role:
-Advising on the development potential of land and buildings
-Assisting with the preparation of planning applications and appeals for a variety of residential, retail, commercial and industrial developments
-Providing policy advice and research
-Drafting representations to plan consultations
-Liaising with clients
