Associate Director/ Director

November is no one's favourite time of the year; it's cold, it's wet, everyone is coughing their germs on you on commuter trains- I think we all need a pick me up. Luckily I have just the thing: I am currently working with a client in Central London looking to bring on an Associate Director and Director. They're an up-and-coming company working on some of the most prestigious projects the industry has to offer, anything from Regeneration to Heritage to Strategic land. If that doesn't brighten up your rainy day I don't know what will.

As Associate Director you will be:

• Coming in with a small, emerging client base to help grow the company through business development; building and nurturing relationships with clients, professionals and other planners.
• Being both proactive and reactive, getting involved in the hands-on technical planning and taking the lead on projects, as well as sourcing new clients and work.
• Mentoring and overseeing junior team members, whilst managing projects and advising on planning strategy on behalf of clients.

As Director you will be:

• Joining the business with transferable clients, and existing fee generation abilities of a minimum of £200k annually from own clients.
• Heading up projects, managing and supervising junior team members, providing senior leadership across the business.
• Performing strategic planning research, and providing strategic project management on planning projects, ensuring that the schedule is met and handling financial management.

Potential candidates should be MRTPI and currently working at Associate, Associate Director or Director level, with an existing client base. The ability to turn your hand to a range of projects and take things in your stride will also be invaluable.
