Planning Consultant / Planning Manager

With offices across the UK, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Planner to join their established team in Glasgow.. As you will be the sole MRTPI Planner for the firm, this is an opportunity to take an existing client base and to grow it over time. In the first 6 months you will have plenty of work coming through from existing projects but longer term the goal is to grow the Planning Service and build a team around you.

This position is ideal for someone who is a qualified Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) or Member of the RICS (MRICS). The post will involve coordination and writing of planning applications and EIA Reports across a range of sectors, including the overall production and submission to planning authorities.

The successful candidate will have:

• Up-to-date knowledge of the Scottish environmental and planning sector.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to effectively manage personal workload and priorities.
• Organised, methodical approach to work with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Current UK Driving Licence.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience
