Planner/Senior Planner - Suffolk

Founded in 2001 and with over 25 years experience in planning consultancy, Planware is a growing practice with an ever-increasing workload. They are an expanding consultancy based on the borders of Essex/Suffolk working on a range of projects throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Islands. They work with blue chip companies (including McDonald's, Crown Golf, Primark and a number of smaller retailers) to sub-regional residential developers.

Typically they work directly for each client, or for developers of larger retail schemes, and have a good working relationship with experienced teams of project managers, architects, designers, political lobbyists, agents and other specialist consultants.

A dynamic planning practice operating throughout the UK principally for a number of blue chip national retail clients and regional residential developers. They boast an excellent success rate at negotiating applications and as a result they have steadily grown over the past few years and the prospects for increasing workload remain very exciting for the coming years.

That's why they are looking to recruit a confident Planning Consultant to work on a range of projects spanning retail, residential and commercial to help prepare appraisals, undertake pre-application negotiations, and draft detailed planning applications as part of a larger development team. You will also be involved in the preparation of planning appeals.

You will have gained relevant work experience in either private practice or the public sector within a Development Control or Local Plans team and be MRTPI or currently working towards a qualification.

You will be joining a driven organisation and committed team, which will offer strong career prospects. The remuneration will be depending on skills and experience from £25,000 to £40,000 per annum.
