The Council has ambitious plans for regeneration, growth and the delivery of new homes and infrastructure. Our new local plan "Managing Growth and Sharing the Benefits" has been through examination and is heading towards adoption in early 2020.

To help us achieve this we are looking for a Service Development Officer who can support us in delivering and improving our front line services to residents and customers. You will lead on a range of service improvement projects, collate and interpret planning performance information and coordinate the Council's pre-application planning advice service.

Responsible for a range of day to day and longer term activities and initiatives that support the delivery of a modern, high quality development management service.
A first degree in planning or business management or related subject.
