Job Details
One of my clients in Bedfordshire are looking for a Tree Officer to assist them with a mixed caseload of applications for an initial contract of 6 months, with the likely potential for extension. Pay rates are dependant on experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice to Officers, elected Members, external groups and members of the public on the welfare, protection status and maintenance of existing trees and the planting of new trees.
- Creating and implementing Tree Preservation Orders, carrying out risk assessments on the tree stock, updating tree management records
- Enforcement of any condition affecting trees made as part of planning consent and tree preservation order/ conservation area
- Dealing with applications for work on protected trees
- Attending and presenting evidence at Appeals, Inquiries and in Court on tree protection and enforcement.
It would be beneficial if you had previous experience using Uniform.
