Head of Planning – Oxfordshire
An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planner to join a successful national consultancy in their Oxfordshire office. Our client has over 200 employees with over 70 employees working from their multidisciplinary Oxfordshire office and are looking to create a new Town Planning team. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a highly reputable consultancy and create a Planning team in their mould to help make a significant contribution to the success and the further development of the office.
As Head of Planning your duties will include:
· Managing a wide and diverse range of client instructions on a number of complex projects
· Engage in business development through bid preparation and networking with existing and proposed clients
· Mentoring junior staff members
· Undertaking site development appraisals and planning assessments
The ideal Associate Planner will have the following:
· Experience in planning roles
· Chartered Member of the RTPI
· Previous private consultancy experience is desirable
· Excellent communication skills
