Oxford City Council has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible individual and a team player to play a key role as either a Senior Planner in the Development Management Service and you could be part of this exciting new journey. 

The ability to negotiate effectively whilst delivering excellent customer service is essential and you must be pragmatic with a can-do and solution focussed attitude to support us becoming the 'Best in Class'. We can offer to develop your skills and knowledge with the chance to participate in our career grade scheme which will enhance your expertise on the journey to be a lead officer with your own case load, presenting cases to Committee. There will also be a requirement to assist in supporting and mentoring staff and signing out decisions.
