Harlow is entering a new era of growth and we require a Senior Planning Officer to help us shape the future of the town.

The district and surrounding area is undergoing significant new development and regeneration as part of its transformation into a Garden Town. Large scale housing schemes are coming forward including the award winning Newhall. Major investment is being attracted to the town centre and our Enterprise Zones, with key organisations such as Public Health England choosing to make Harlow their home.

You will be required to deal with major residential and commercial development schemes as well as smaller scale matters, appeals and enforcement. 

The successful candidate will need to be able to work to deadlines independently alongside being able support and mentor more junior members within a team environment.

This position is suitable for a planner looking for opportunities to widen their experiences with larger and more varied schemes.
